If your wrists hurt after an hour or two at your new standing desk, your first instinct is to blame the desk itself — and to blame the standing posture. That instinct is wrong in nine cases out of ten. The standing desk is not the problem. Set the top of the monitor at or just below your eye height when you are standing upright, not leaning back. For most users, that means 5–10 cm higher than the seated-eye-height position.
